The 2023 Thailand International Building Materials Exhibition(Architect Expo) will be held in Bangkok, the capital city, once a year. According to Thai customs statistics, from January to September 2015, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between Thailand and China reached 47.42 billion US dollars, an increase of 9.4 percent . Among them, Thailand's exports to China reached 20.02 billion US dollars, an increase of 0.5 percent , accounting for 11.7 percent of Thailand's total exports, an increase of 0.2 percentage points; Thailand's imports from China reached 27.4 billion US dollars, an increase of 16.9 percent , accounting for 14.8 percent of Thailand's total imports, an increase of 1.4 percentage points. The trade deficit of Thailand was 7.38 billion US dollars, an increase of 109 percent . China is Thailand's second largest trading partner, second only to Japan. China is Thailand's largest export market and second largest source of imports.
Since 2002, China's production of building ceramics, doors and windows, floor materials, sanitary ware, building electricians, lighting fixtures and other materials has continuously entered the ASEAN market. In recent years, there has also been a new wave of enthusiasm in infrastructure construction and residential construction in ASEAN countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
